If a offer sounds strange and you feel uneasy about it then it probably is a scam. Those offers that sound to good to be true are usually just that, too good to be true.
Please be careful when giving your information to anyone.
- Never give out your banking information.
- Never send someone a check for anything you have sold them.
- Meet your customers before doing business with them. Their will be out of town buyers but, always make sure you have cash in hand or have cashed their check before your horse or item ever leaves your property.
Always get something in writing. You should never complete a transaction withoout getting it in writing and having both parties sign. If you cannot afford a lawyer to draw up this contract you should still write it down and both parties should sign. If anyone is hesitant or refuses to sign then that should be a good indicator that it is someone to be wary of. You probably shoould'nt be doing business with these people.
